Wuthering Waves 3.2 Update: New Characters, Banners, Events & Release Date

If you thought your Astrites were finally safe after the last banner, bad news: Version 3.2 is here to emotionally damage your wallet again.

Below is a full Wuthering Waves 3.2 update summary covering banners, new characters, story content, events, and everything else arriving in the patch.

3.2 Special Program & Release Schedule

The Version 3.2 Special Program livestream is scheduled for March 13, 2026 at 08:00PM JST.

During the livestream, players can expect redeem codes worth a total of 300 Astrite, making it well worth tuning in. For those who cannot watch live, the redeem codes will be shared shortly after the broadcast.

The Version 3.2 update itself is expected to launch on March 19, 2026 (UTC+8).

Similar to previous versions, there will be a short gap between the livestream and the actual update release.

New 5★ Characters

Sigrika

Sigrika is the only confirmed new 5-star Resonator in Version 3.2, and she introduces a playstyle rarely seen in the game so far.

Instead of relying on constant ability spam, Sigrika’s kit focuses on building resources and unleashing massive Echo Skill bursts.

Key design concepts:

• Heavy focus on Echo Skill damage scaling
• Resource-building mechanics before burst windows
• Strong synergy with Echo-focused teammates
• High damage ceiling in optimized teams

Her gameplay encourages a more strategic setup-and-burst style, rather than the usual “press everything on cooldown” combat flow.

In other words: fewer buttons, bigger explosions.

 

New Weapon

Sigrika Signature Weapon

Base ATK: 588 丨 Crit. DMG: 48.6%

Effect:

Increases ATK by 12/15/18/21/24%. Casting Intro Skill or Echo Skill grants 32/40/48/56/64% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 15s. When dealing Echo Skill DMG, Aero DMG ignores 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% of the target's DEF for 6s.

Solsworn Ciphers is the only newly introduced featured weapon in Version 3.2. As Sigrika’s signature weapon, it is expected to be her optimal choice, enhancing both Aero damage and Echo Skill DMG.

In addition, several limited 5-star weapons will be released alongside their respective characters. During Phase 1, Emerald Sentence will debut together with Qiuyuan, while Phase 2 will introduce Blazing Justice, Luminous Hymn, and Spectrum Blaster, designed for Zani, Phoebe, and Lynae respectively.

 

New Quests

Main Quest Chapter lll Act IV- Gold Suspended in the Shadows

Following the events of Chapter 3 Act 3, The Star That Voyages Far, a new Main Quest will continue the storyline. Act 4 is also expected to bring Sigrika into the narrative, highlighting her relationship with the Roya Tribe and their link to Lahai-Roi.

Segue: Afterstory- Rabbit Reflected in Shades

Version 3.2 will introduce a new Segue quest. This quest will likely serve as a transition that leads into the next region and sets up the characters expected to debut in the upcoming Anniversary Patch.

New enemies will arrive in Solaris-III with the release of Version 3.2. Players will encounter the Fractsidus and its experimental creations while exploring Lahai-Roi.

The Queen Livery and Violet Livery, featuring Kasumi’s design, are premium skins for the Expedition Motorbike and can be purchased directly from the in-game store.

Upon finishing the Whispers Between Stars event, the featured livery becomes available for a limited period.

New Tactical Hologram

Players will be able to challenge Hyvatia as a Tactical Hologram, with difficulty levels that gradually increase. By clearing every stage up to Stage 6, players can earn valuable rewards, including Astrites.

Special Collaboration

Version 3.2 will feature a collaboration with Muse Dash. As part of the rhythm game event Soar to the Beat!, players will be able to play well-known tracks such as Final Step!, Cthugha, and Drizzle & Dolce
