Luuk Kit, Gameplay and Weapon | Wuthering Waves 3.1

Wuthering Waves 3.1 is shaping up to be a Startorch Academy kind of patch, and Luuk Herssen is already giving “I’m totally calm, please don’t camp outside my office” energy. In the lore blurbs floating around, he’s framed as the academy’s doctor + counselor tied to the Resonator Nursing Unit—so yeah, he’s basically the guy who knows everyone’s secrets (and probably your pull plans too).

This post is just a quick, spoiler-light look at the Luuk skill leak for WuWa 3.1—just the fun part: “is he my next obsession?”

 

Luuk Overview

Luuk Herssen is a rumored 5★ Spectro Gauntlets Resonator expected around Wuthering Waves 3.1. Lore-wise, he’s introduced as Dr. Luuk Herssen from the Resonator Nursing Unit at Startorch Academy—the “calm professional” type who definitely feels like he has secrets.

Gameplay (from the leak sheet) reads like a fast, aerial-leaning skirmisher: multi-hit air strings, a stamina dive, and a two-charge teleport you can even use mid-air. He also swaps into a rotating skill chain, drops a ground array you can detonate, and plays around a resource “window” state for powered follow-ups—plus extra Harmony stacking interactions layered on top.

 

Normal Attack: Such is Light 

Basic Attack
Perform up to 4 consecutive attacks, dealing Spectro DMG.

Heavy Attack
Consume STA to jump into the air, dealing Spectro DMG.

Mid-air Attack
Perform up to 4 consecutive attacks in mid-air, dealing Spectro DMG. Stage 4 is a Plunging Attack at the cost of STA.
Press Normal Attack or Jump to perform Basic Attack Stage 2 and 3.
Luuk Herssen attacks with Scythe: Dissection when the input is Normal Attack.
Luuk Herssen attacks with Scythe: Resection when the input is Jump. He also inflicts on the target for 25s.
While in mid-air, hold Normal Attack to perform a Plunging Attack at the cost of STA.

Dodge Counter
Press Normal Attack right after a successful Dodge on the ground to attack the target, dealing Spectro DMG. Press Normal Attack within a time after casting this skill to cast Basic Attack Stage 3.
Press Normal Attack right after a successful Dodge in mid-air to flash toward the target, dealing Spectro DMG.

 

Resonance Skill: Reunion of All the Fallen

Golden Reflux
Flash toward the target and deal Spectro DMG.
Golden Reflux has 2 charges.
Can be cast in mid-air.

Aureole of Execution
Casting Mid-air Basic Attack Stage 3 replaces Resonance Skill with Aureole of Execution, which deals Basic Attack DMG.
Aureole of Executionhas 3 forms, including Aureole of Execution: Ring, Aureole of Executiom: Breach, and Aureole of Execution: Glare.
Casting any form of Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution grants 1 stack of Endnotes on the Endgame and switches Aureole of Execution to the next form in sequence.
Switching to another Resonator resets the cycle of Aureole of Execution and Resonance Skill is reset to Golden Reflux
Can be cast in mid-air.

Aureole of Execution: Ring
Deal Spectro DMG, and reset the Mid-air Attack cycle.
The next Normal Attack triggers Basic Attack - Golden Impale.
Basic Attack - Golden Impale is no longer available if Dodge Counter is cast in air or Luuk Herssen is switched out in the duration.

Aureole of Execution: Breach
Spin and dash forward, dealing Spectro DMG to enemies along the path and resetting the Mid-air Attack cycle to Stage 1.
Throw out a whirling blade to attack the target, dealing fixed amout of Spectro DMG.
Only one whirling blade can exist at a time. It cannot trigger Counterattack and disappears when other skills are cast.
The next Basic Attack is replaced with Basic Attack - Golden Impale.
If Dodge Counter is cast in mid-air or Luuk Herssen is switched off the field during this period, Basic Attack - Golden Impale is no longer available.

Aureole of Execution: Glare
Hurl out Solid-State Ichor, dealing Spectro DMG and forming an Ichor Deposit on the ground.

Basic Attack - Golden Impale
Flash toward the target and deal Spectro DMG, considered Basic Attack DMG.

Ichor Deposit
Ichor Deposit detonates automatically after 5s, dealing Spectro DMG, considered Basic Attack DMG.

Endnotes on the Endgame
Increase the DMG Multiplier of Resonance Liberation Rewritten in Winter's Margins by 20%, stacking up to 3 times. Casting Resonance Liberation Rewritten in Winter's Margins or switching to another Resonator removes all stacks.

Can be cast in mid-air.

 

Forte Circuit: Spark from the Frost

Mid-air Attack - Gavel of Earthshaker
When the Solid-State Ichor of Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution: Glare is hurled out, press or hold Normal Attack in the air to cast Mid-air Attack - Gavel of Earthshaker.
Slam down from the air to detonate the Ichor Deposit, dealing Spectro DMG considered Basic Attack DMG.
Mid-air Attack - Gavel of Earthshaker is no longer available when Resonance Liberation Rewritten in Winter's Margins is cast or Luuk Herssen is switched off the field.

Aureate Judge
With full Ichor Flow, enter the Aureate Judge state. In this state, Luuk Herssen gains the following effects:
- Ichor Flow does not restore. The DMG Multipliers of all forms of Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution increases.
Casting Aureole of Execution: Glare increases the DMG Multiplier of the next Mid-air Attack - Gavel of Earthshaker.
100 points of Ichor Flow is consumed each time Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution is cast.
Aureate Judge ends when Ichor Flow depletes.

Golden Rule
When Luuk Herssen is in the team, all other Resonators in the team gain Golden Rule. When Resonators with Golden Rule cast Outro Skill and the incoming Resonator is Luuk Herssen, remove all Golden Rules on Resonators in the team and grant Luuk Herssen 200 points of Ichor Flow and 12 points of Concerto Energy. Resonators in the team gain Golden Rule again after 24s.

Dawnlit Keep
Luuk Herssen gains 1 stack of Dawnlit Keep when he stays out of combat for over 4s or casts Intro Skill Before Injection of Dawn.
Dawnlit Keep is capped at 1 stacks. When damaged in mid-air, consume 1 stack of Dawnlit Keep to reduce the DMG taken by 60% and gain immunity to interruptions for 1s. This effect can be triggered once every 1s.

Radiant Reave
When Luuk Herssen performs Dodge in mid-air, he briefly stays airborne and sends out a whirling blade, dealing fixed Spectro DMG.
Only one whirling blade can exist at a time. It cannot trigger Counterattack and disappears when other skills are cast.
Luuk Herssen consumes STA continuously while airborne.
If Luuk Herssen is launched into mid-air, press Dodge before landing to trigger this effect, up to 3 times. When Luuk Herssen is on the ground or switched out for more than 3s, the trigger count is reset.

Ichor Flow
Luuk Herssen holds up to 300 points of Ichor Flow.
Normal Attacks, Resonance Skill Golden Reflux, Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution, Basic Attack - Golden Impale, and Mid-air Attack - Gavel of Earthshaker restores Ichor Flow on hit.
Casting Intro Skill Before Injection of Dawn restores 100 points of Ichor Flow.

 

Inherent Talent

• Pulse Under the Snow
  When Luuk Herssen directly damages and defeats nearby targets, if the targets were inflicted with Tune Strain - Interfered:
  • If Luuk Herssen has no Perpetuating Daytime, gain same stacks of Perpetuating Daytime equal to the stacks of Tune Strain - Interfered.
  • If Luuk Herssen already has Perpetuating Daytime and the stack count of Tune Strain - Interfered on the target, raise the stacks of Perpetuating Daytime to the stacks of Tune Strain - Interfered on the target.
  • When Luuk Herssen casts Tune Break, if the target is affected by Tune Strain - Shifting, remove all Perpetuating Daytime Luuk Herssen has and apply the same stacks of Tune Strain - Interfered on the target.
  • Perpetuating Daytime stacks up to 3 times. 
• Uncaused Diagnosis
  When Luuk Herssen deals damage to targets affected by Tune Strain - Interfered, every 10 points of Tune Break Boost he has Amplify this instance of damage by 5%, up to 30%.
  If the target has at least 3 stacks of Tune Strain - Interfered, this instance of damage is further Amplified by 15%.

Tune Break - Silent Debate of Light 

Luuk Herssen can inflict Tune Strain - Shifting on targets.
Luuk Herssen can respond to Tune Strain - Interfered.
- Responding to Tune Strain - Interfered: Every 0.12% stack of Tune Strain - Interfered on the target increases Luuk Herssen's total DMG against them. Each point of Luuk Herssen's Tune Break Boost increases the total DMG by 0.12%. While Luuk Herssen is in the team, the max stack limit of Tune Strain - Interfered on a target is increased by 1.
Additionally, when the target's Off-Tune Level is full, Luuk can cast Tune Break on the target.

 

Resonance Chain

1. Gold Kindled in Ash

• The DMG of Mid-air Attack is increased by 150%.
• The max limit of Dawnlit Keep is increased by 1.
• When in Aureate Judge, casting Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution grants 1 stack of Dawnlit Keep.

2. An Unending Avalanche Remains in the Eyes

The DMG Multiplier of Resonance Liberation Definition in Absolute Zero is increased by 60%.

Inherent Skill Uncaused Diagnosis is enhanced:

• When Luuk Herssen deals damage to targets inflicted with Tune Strain - Interfered, every 10 points of Tune Break Boost he has now Amplify this instance of damage by 10%. This effect increases the DMG Amplification from 30% to 60%.

3. Spine Tempered by Golden Rain 

The DMG Multipliers of all forms of Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution and Mid-air Attack - Gavel of Earthshaker are increased by 65% in the Aureate Judge state.
Inherent Skill Pulses Under the Snow is enhanced:

• When Resonator in the team directly damages and defeats nearby targets, Luuk Herssen gains Perpetuating Daytime. The stacking same rules of Inherent Skill Pulses Under the Snow apply. When Resonators in the team cast Tune Break, if the target is affected by Tune Strain - Shifting, inflict the same stacks of Tune Strain - Interfered equal to the stacks of Perpetuating Daytime Luuk Herssen has. Luuk Herssen loses all stacks of Perpetuating Daytime afterward.

4. Pulse Thrumming Under Rime 

When Resonators in the team cast Tune Break, all Resonators in the team gain 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 20s. This effect is unstackable.

5. Through the Stillness of Snowstorm

Intro Skill Before Injection of Dawn and Outro Skill Bow to the Last Light deal 80% more DMG.
Resonance Skill Golden Reflux has its DMG Multiplier increased by 50% and Cooldown reduced by 2, and gains 1 more charge.

6. Dawn Unfurling over Frostlands

When any nearby Resonator in the team triggers Tune Break, Luuk Herssen's Resonance Skill Aureole of Execution and Mid-air Attack - Gavel of Earthshaker deal 30% more DMG to the target for 25s.
Each stack of Endnotes on the Endgame increases the DMG dealt through Resonance Liberation Definition in Absolute Zero by 40%, up to 120%.
When Luuk Herssen deals any damage, the stack count Tune Strain - Interfered on the target is considered as increased by 2, which may go over the stack limit.

Daybreaker's Spine

Attack: 588      Crit DMG: 24.3%

Attack increased by 12%. Each time you cast variation skills or resonance skills, basic attack damage increases by 20% for 6 seconds.

When causing basic attack damage, the diffraction damage bonus is increased by 20% and ignores 10% of the target's defense for 4 seconds.

 

Conclusion

Big picture: Luuk Herssen is one of the faces people are already associating with the Startorch Academy / Lahai-Roi arc, so it’s no surprise the Wuthering Waves 3.1 Luuk leak is getting bookmarked like a grocery list.
