This WuWa 3.1 Whimpering Wastes rotation runs Feb 16, 2026 → Mar 16, 2026 (reset day), so you’ve got a clean month to grab rewards before it wipes again. If you’re here for the “what do I actually do?” version: this guide focuses on practical clears and points, how the rotation’s Token pool and stage rules push your team choices, and what to prioritize so you’re not rage-queuing Stage 12 at 3 a.m.
New Tokens added in the 3.1 rotation
On 2026-02-16 04:00 (server time), the official adjustments did two big things:
- Removed the old “Captain’s Seal” Tokens from Forbidden Waters unlocks (including Absolver / Pilgrim / Plunderer – Captain’s Seal).
- Replaced them with a brand-new “Lone Light in the Long Night” set, and this rotation also adds two NEW Golden Tokens that are basically tailor-made for specific mechanics.
Below is the full Token list for the Feb 16 rotation (all effects included).

Stage 7-11 Team Recommendation
All five floors are built around the same Environment Report loop: dealing damage / getting kills fills Ember, and once it caps you enter Burning Waves for 30s with +60% DMG dealt—aka your “stop sandbagging, dump your rotation now” window. On top of that, when enemies show Mistune, tagging them with a Resonator Skill pops one instance of Tune Break DMG and clears Mistune, so you’re rewarded for actually pressing skills on time (wild concept, I know).
Team-building wise: 7–8 are “play your best two teams” territory (no global element RES slap), but 9–11 add a hard “don’t force it” check: Stage 9 = +20% Spectro RES, Stage 10 = +20% Aero RES, Stage 11 = +20% Havoc RES (both halves). So if your main carry is one of those elements on that floor, you can still clear—just don’t act surprised when the timer feels personal.
Use the team recs below as archetypes: Burning Waves uptime + clean skill hits for Mistune + avoid the floor’s RES tax, and you’re good

Enemy Info & Battle Tips
|
1st Half |
|||
|
Electro Predator |
Glacio Dreadmane |
Violet-Feathered Heron |
Zip Zap |
Treat this wave like “ranged + slippery + tanky” in one package. Electro Predator is basically an archer that shoots lightning arrows, so don’t let it free-cast—gap close or pull it into your AoE. Glacio Dreadmane is a stealthy wolf-mimic type, so sweeping AoE/quick swaps help you not whiff your burst when it repositions, and it’s also Glacio-resistant so don’t force a Glacio carry here. Violet-Feathered Heron and Zip Zap both have higher Electro RES, so if you’re running Electro, expect the timer to feel worse than it should. Zip Zap can form a metal shell and even “attach” to buff other enemies—delete it early when it shows up.
|
2nd Half |
|||
|
Abyssal Gladius |
Electro Predator |
Violet-Feathered Heron |
Voltscourge Stalker |
This one’s all about not getting dragged around by fast movers while an elite duelist exists on the field. Abyssal Gladius is Glacio-resistant and tends to play like a “knight” threat—keep pressure on it during your big damage window instead of chasing wolves across the arena. Voltscourge Stalker is an aggressive, lightning-fast wolf (also higher Electro RES), so don’t over-commit long animations; bait a dash, then punish. Electro Predator is still the annoying backline archer—pick it off or clump it with CC. Violet-Feathered Heron again shrugs Electro more than you’d like, so bring a non-Electro DPS or at least a mixed damage profile.

Conclusion
If you take one thing away: don’t fight the rotation—let the stage rules and Tokens carry your run, and plan your pushes before Mar 16 instead of speedrunning panic on reset day. And if you’re a few pulls short right when a banner timer starts cooking you, LDShop’s Wuthering Waves top-up deals can be the “fine, I’ll fix it” button. See you next time!
