Phrolova, who appeared as early as Chapter 1 of Wuthering Waves, stands out as one of the game's most highly anticipated characters. She is officially released in Version 2.5. So, in this build guide, we provide the recommendation about her gameplay mechanics and playstyle, skills priority, the best weapons, the best Echo sets, main/sub-stat targets, and her team compositions. Phrolova is a 5-star Havoc Rectifier Resonator, and her Tacet Mark is located on her upper left arm. Utilizing a Lycoris-like wand, she is capable of manipulating Echoes and Tacet Discord alike, as well as summon Hecate from the "Beyond". The petals alone are strong enough to achieve this, and can even be given to others to utilize. Her frequencies indicate that she is remarkably powerful.

Cantarella will also receive a rerun in Phase 2 of Version 2.5, so Rover planning to pull for Phrolova should consider grabbing her as well. Additionally, Roccia’s crowd-control abilities can also contribute effectively to this team composition.

While Phrolova doesn't fit the traditional main DPS archetype, and Roccia provides certain utility in Havoc teams without being indispensable, we can expect a future character - potentially Chisa in upcoming 2.8 banners - to replace Roccia's slot, serving as either a main or sub DPS to strengthen the team composition. However, with significant version gaps anticipated, we'll just have to keep a seat warm at the LDShop and wait patiently for further developments.

Combo

Into → AA (2 Forte Gauge) → EA (2 Forte Gauge) → AAA+A (2 Forte Gauge) → Reinforced Heavy Attack → R

Upon entering the field with a short-press normal attack, immediately enter the special state. Follow up with another normal attack to trigger the Forte Circuit, then use EA + 3A + A to enter the special state twice in succession and activate the Forte Circuit again. By this point, you will have accumulated 6 Forte Gauge. After executing a reinforced heavy attack, unleash the ultimate ability before swapping out.

 

Phrolova Resonance Chain

• S1: A Key to Netherworld's Secrets

Improve the DMG multiplier of Movement of Fate and Finality and Murmurs in a Haunting Dream, up to 80%.

• S2: A Rope Tied to a Life Beyond (Key Chain)

The DMG Multiplier of Scarlet Coda is increased by 75%. Aftersound now additionally increases the DMG Multiplier of Scarlet Coda by 75%. Casting Scarlet Coda grants 14 stacks of Aftersound.

• S3: A Dagger to Cut Clean Obsessions (Key Chain)

Significantly increase the damage boost of Echo skills. During Scarlet Coda, all Volatile Notes will be sequentially transformed into Volatile Notes - Cadenza. Targets hit by Enhanced Attack - Hecate: Cadenza will have their Attack reduced by 20% for 15 seconds.

• S4: A Torch Illuminating the Path

Casting Echo Skill grants 20% Attribute DMG Bonus for all Resonators in the team for 30s.

• S5: A Forked Road in Fate's Heartland

Upon entering the Maestro state, generate a field to Stagnate the nearby targets. Damage taken during the Maestro state is reduced by 30%.

• S6: A Night to Depart From Eternal Rest (Key Chain)

During Movement of Fate and Finality and Murmurs in a Haunting Dream, command Hecate to cast 1 Apparition of Beyond - Hecate. If Phrolova is not the active Resonator during the Maestro state, targets take 40% more DMG from Hecate and Phrolova. If Phrolova is the active Resonator during the Maestro state, gain 60% Havoc DMG Bonus.

Conclusion

Overall, as a non-traditional main DPS, Phrolova's mechanics lean more towards an off-field sub-DPS focused on Hovac and quick-swap playstyle, placing her roughly at a T0.5 tier.
