Content
General Introduction
Electro is one of the 7 elements in Genshin Impact and is one of the more reactive Elements in nature, with various characters from the elements heavily reliant on Elemental Reactions to deal strong damage and require different full teams to cater specifically to them to perform well in various contents.
Unlike Electro or Cryo elements which are offensive in nature thanks to their powerful Critical and Attack based Elemental Resonance, Electro Resonance leans towards a more supportive side by providing Energy Generation to the party depending on the different Electro-related elemental reactions initiated.
In the current Genshin Impact Meta, there are generally 4 different types of best teams for Electro Centric characters and Electro elemental reactions: Electro-Charged Teams, Overload Teams, Aggravate Teams and Hyperbloom Teams. Each of these teams have their own quirks and characters that specialize in enabling the different teams for the main DPS, so players should consider carefully which team to invest in based on the main Electro DPS that you want to use.

Best Electro-Charged Teams
The Electro-charged teams in Genshin Impact use a combination of different Electro and Hydro characters to trigger the Electro-charged elemental reaction, allowing the team to deal consistent Electro damage to the enemies that have the ability to spread to groups of enemies.
Generally, the electro-charged team consists of 2 Electro characters as the main and sub DPS and 2 Hydro characters as Hydro enablers and buffers.

The F2P Electro-charged team take advantage of Fischl’s rapid Electro application with her normal attacks when OZ is on field together with Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst to constantly trigger the Electro-Charged reaction with her normal attacks while protected and buffed with Beidou and Ororon’s buffs.
Best Overload Teams
The Overload teams in Genshin Impact utilize the Overload reaction to deal big explosive damage to enemies when the Electro element comes into contact with the Pyro marks on enemies. Generally speaking, this kind of team is difficult to control due to how the Overload reaction scatters groups of enemies around the map when it is triggered. Therefore, it is generally recommended for players to have different crowd control options in the team when fighting against a group of enemies. For boss enemies, this problem is no longer a concern.
An Overload team in Genshin Impact generally consists of 1-2 Electro characters as the main DPS and support, 1 Pyro off-field character for elemental mark and 1 general support character.
Some of the best Overload centric teams in Genshin Impact for the different DPS characters are:
Raiden Shogun Overload Team
|
|
|
|
Raiden Shogun |
Kujo Sara |
Mavuika |
Chevreuse |
Main DPS |
Electro Support |
Pyro Enabler/ Sub-DPS |

Players can alternate between Raiden Shogun and Mavuika as the on field DPS character while having both of their Skills active as the off-field enabler.
During this time, players can boost the damage of Raiden Shogun’s DPS by utilizing the immense Electro buff from Kujo Sara and the amazing Attack buff from Chevreuse that will be active whenever an Overload reaction is triggered.

Varesa Plunging Overload Team
|
|
|
|
Varesa |
Mavuika |
Chevreuse |
Iansan |
Main DPS |
Pyro Enabler |
Support |
Electro Support |
The Varesa Overload team is a very special team that utilizes the different effects from Varesa and Mavuika’s Nightsoul abilities to supplement each other’s damage dealt. Due to Varesa being a Plunge attack DPS character, it is generally more difficult to buff her overall damage output, so by utilizing Mavuika’s off field Pyro application and the damage buffing skill kits of both Chevreuse and Iansan, this team focuses on creating the perfect environment for Varesa to trigger the Overload reaction with every hit of her Plunging Attacks, dealing big damage to the enemies with each hit.
Cyno/ Clorinde Overload Team
|
|
|
|
Cyno/Clorinde |
Mavuika |
Chevreuse |
Bennett |
Main DPS |
Pyro Enabler |
Support |
Support/ Sustain |
The Cyno/ Clorinde Overload team takes full advantage of the Cyno and Clorinde’s strong ability to infuse their normal attacks with Electro in order to deal quick normal attacks against the enemies and bosses. Coupling this ability with Mavuika’s off field Pyro application and both Chevreuse and Bennett’s powerful damage buff to boost the main DPS’s on field damage output will turn this team into a very strong Normal Attack Overload based team.
Please keep in mind that, against groups of enemies, this team can be more difficult to use due to how the Overload reaction launches the enemies away from the main DPS, making it harder to attack them.
F2P Overload Team
|
|
|
|
Fischl |
Xiangling |
Chevreuse |
Bennett |
Main DPS |
Pyro Enabler |
Sub DPS/Support |
Support/ Sustain |
The F2P Overload team functions similarly to the Raiden Shogun Overload team in that it utilizes both Fischl and Xiangling’s off field abilities to help continuously trigger the Overload effect on the enemies and deal massive amounts of Overload Elemental damage to the enemies. Players can alternate between Fischl on the field to use her fast attack to trigger Oz or switch to Chevreuse as the main on field DPS depending on the situation while taking full advantage of Chevreuse and Bennett strong buffing abilities.
Best Aggravate Teams
The Aggravate Teams in the game take advantage of the special Electro Damage boosting effect of the Aggravate Elemental reaction, allowing players to deal a high amount of Electro damage against the enemies after they have been inflicted with the Catalyzed Reaction by applying Dendro and Electro.
For Aggravate teams, it is highly recommended that players bring at least 2 Electro characters, 1 Dendro character to apply the Dendro mark off field and 1 general support character for the Aggravate team to quickly trigger the Catalyzed Reaction and maximize all instances of Electro and Dendro damage when triggering Aggravate.
Raiden Shogun Aggravate Team
|
|
|
|
Raiden Shogun |
Nahida |
Kujou Sara |
Kazuha |
Main DPS |
Dendro Enabler |
Electro Support |
Support |
Raiden Shogun’s Aggravate team takes advantage of Nahida’s strong lingering off field Dendro marking effect on all enemies in order for Raiden Shogun to quickly trigger the Quicken Elemental reaction with her skill. Then deal extremely high Electro burst damage against the enemies with her Elemental Burst against the enemies with the help of powerful Electro buffing abilities from Kujou Sara and Kazuha’s reducing enemies’ Electro resistances even further with his abilities and the Anemo artifact set.
Please note that due to how this team works, there are no sustain options in the team, so players should be careful of the enemies when using this team. If players want a sustain option, they can replace Kazuha with a good sustain character in exchange for lower damage ceiling.
Cyno/ Clorinde Normal Attacks Aggravate Team
|
|
|
|
Cyno/Clorinde |
Nahida |
Yae Miko/Fischl |
Zhongli |
Main DPS |
Dendro Enabler |
Electro Support |
Support/Sustain |
Similar to the Raiden Shogun Aggravate team, the Cyno/Clorinde Aggravate team wants to take full advantage of Nahida’s strong off field and long lasting Dendro mark to constantly trigger the Quicken and Aggravate reactions with Cyno and Clorinde’s fast Electro-infused normal attacks.
Yae Miko or Fischl is used in this team to supplement Cyno and Clorinde’s damage dealt due to their skills triggering with every normal attack and Zhongli is used to protect the team and increase the main DPS’s interruption resistances while also reducing the enemies’ resistances with his shield.
F2P Aggravate Team
|
|
|
|
Sethos |
Kirara |
Kujou Sara |
Fischl |
Main DPS |
Dendro Enabler/ Sustain |
Electro Support |
Support/ Sub DPS |
The F2P Aggravate team focuses on using Kirara’s quick and easy to use skill kit that apply the Dendro marks on the enemies while also providing a shield for allies and boosting the damage of the team to help Sethos set up the perfect opportunity to use his Charge Attacks right after. Fischl in the team serves as a sub DPS with her familiar, allowing players to supplement the team’s downtime. Both of these characters can be buffed with Kujou Sara’s Electro buffing ability as well.
Best Hyperbloom Teams
The Hyperbloom teams function somewhat similarly to the different Aggravate teams in that it will require at least 1 off-field Dendro option for the team to function. However unlike the Aggravate reaction that directly boost the damage output of the instance of Electro damage, the Hyperbloom teams are more reliant on Elemental Mastery to boost the damage of the projectiles against the enemies.
A typical Hyperbloom team will require 1 off-field Dendro character, 1 off-field Hydro character and either 2 Electro characters or 1 Electro character and 1 general support option.
Yae Miko Hyperbloom Team
|
|
|
|
Yae Miko |
Nahida |
Yelan |
Furina |
Main DPS |
Dendro Enabler |
Sub DPS/ Hydro Enabler |
Support |
This hyperbloom focuses on using Yae Miko skill to constantly deal Electro damage to enemies in addition to her Electro infused normal attacks to inflict enemies with constant Hydro marks with the help of Yelan while the enemies are inflicted with Nahida’s Dendro mark to trigger the Hyperbloom Elemental Reactions, dealing constant damage to enemies while being buffed with the help of Furina.
Cyno Hyperbloom Team
|
|
|
|
Cyno |
Nahida |
Shinobu |
Furina |
Main DPS |
Dendro Enabler |
Electro Support/ Sustain |
Hydro Enabler |
Functioning somewhat similar to his Aggravate team, the Cyno Hyperbloom focuses on allowing Cyno to use his Electro-infused attacks to trigger the different seeds to deal damage to the enemies while also dealing damage to the enemies. To help initiate the Hyperbloom reaction, Nahida’s long lasting Dendro mark and Furina’s off field familiars will work in tandem to create the different Dendro seeds while Shinobu’s ability will keep the team health steady while also buffing the team’s Elemental mastery.
F2P Hyperbloom Team
|
|
|
|
Fischl |
Shinobu |
Xingqiu |
Kirara/Yao Yao |
Main DPS |
Electro Enabler/ Support |
Hydro Enabler |
Dendro |
For the F2P Hyperbloom team, the team functions similarly to the F2P Electro-charged team but with the addition of Shinobu and Kirara or Yao Yao to help facilitate the Hyperbloom reaction instead of the Electro-charged elemental reaction. This team also needs to be built with Elemental Mastery to maximize the Hyperbloom reaction damage.
Conclusion
With the release of a brand new Electro special elemental reaction in the form of Lunar-charged and the upcoming Genshin Impact content cycle that revolves around Electro, it is extremely important that players know all the best Electro teams in the Genshin Impact meta for the most optimal investment.
