Arknights: Endfield Rossi build guide goes up ahead of her Version 1.1 Phase 2 release on March 29, 2026. Rossi already gives off the vibe of a character with a very specific lane in the meta, and that alone makes her one of the more talked-about names in the patch. Her kit points toward focused boss damage, layered setup, and a playstyle that gets more rewarding once the team is built around her properly.

If you’re looking at Wolf Pearl and trying to figure out how much value Rossi can really bring, this guide breaks down the parts that matter most before the banner goes live.

Overview

rossi

Rarity: 6-star   |  Class: Guard  |   Weapon: Sword  |   Element: Physical

Rossi reads like a boss-focused hybrid carry. The biggest sell is not just that she hits in two damage lanes, but that her kit seems built around turning setup into payoff: Arts Infliction becomes Vulnerability, Vulnerable targets let her Battle Skill do more, Razor Clawmark makes enemies take more Physical and Heat damage, and her crit-based follow-up talent gives her extra bite once the mark is up.

So rather than thinking of her as “another mono-Physical attacker,” it makes more sense to treat her as a more technical single-target damage dealer who wants the team to help enable her ceiling. When the setup is there, she looks explosive; when it isn’t, she probably won’t feel nearly as free as the established Physical core.

Skill Overview and Leveling Priority

Basic Attack: Seething Wolfblood

Basic Attack: Seething Wolfblood

Basic Attack is still last, but not because it is weak. Rossi’s normals bring real utility: her chain has up to five hits, her Final Strike adds Stagger, and attacking near a staggered enemy turns into a finisher that deals massive Physical damage and restores SP. In actual gameplay, that gives her smoother field time and helps keep her rotation moving between bigger buttons. It is just that Rossi’s biggest impact clearly comes from her skill-based burst and setup, so Basic stays as the final upgrade rather than an early priority.

Suggested Level: Rank 9+

Battle Skill: Crimson Shadow

Battle Skill: Crimson Shadow

Battle Skill is third, but it is still a huge part of why Rossi feels good to play. It gives her fast engage, immediate Lift, and extra follow-up value on Vulnerable enemies, then rolls that into Razor Clawmark pressure. That mark matters a lot in real combat because it adds continuous damage and increases the target’s Physical and Heat damage taken, which helps both Rossi herself and the rest of her team hit harder. So even if it is not the first thing I would max, it is absolutely one of the skills that makes her whole combat loop click.

Suggested Level: Rank 9

Combo Skill: Moment of Blazing Shadow

Combo Skill: Moment of Blazing Shadow

Combo Skill deserves second because this is where Rossi really cashes out once the target is primed. It comes in two sequences, with Sequence 2 consuming Arts Infliction, dealing damage, applying Lift, and adding even more Vulnerability on perfect timing. In practice, this is the move that makes her rotations feel explosive instead of just stable. It pushes her single-target pressure much higher and helps her snowball momentum once the enemy is already under control, which is exactly why it sits right behind Ultimate.

Suggested Level: Rank 10+

Ultimate: “Razorclaw” Ambuscade

Ultimate: “Razorclaw” Ambuscade

If you want the skill that feels the most worth leveling first, it’s Ultimate. This is Rossi’s biggest burst button in her public kit: a multi-hit sequence into a heavy finishing slash, plus it applies Heat Infliction at the end. In actual fights, that gives her immediate kill pressure and makes her damage windows feel much sharper, especially since her kit also benefits from enemies taking more Physical and Heat damage through Razor Clawmark. It is the cleanest mix of burst, pressure, and payoff, so this is the easiest first max.

So if you want the version that sells their actual fight value, I’d phrase it as: Ultimate > Combo Skill > Battle Skill > Basic Attack.

Suggested Level: Rank 12

Best Weapon

Best in Slot

 Lupine Scarlet

Lupine Scarlet

Rarity: 6✦

Type: Sword

Base ATK: 505

After the wielder's skill deals Critical DMG, the wielder gains 1 stack of Wolven Blood that grants Physical and Heat DMG Dealt +1.6%. Wolven Blood can reach 16 stacks. After reaching 16 stacks, the wielder gains another Physical and Heat DMG Dealt +38.4% for 20s. After the Dealt duration ends, all Wolven Blood stacks are removed.

Lupine Scarlet fits Rossi because it buffs exactly what her kit wants: Agility, Crit Rate, and damage that works on both sides of her hybrid output. Rossi benefits a lot from landing crits, and this weapon’s passive snowballs off skill crits into Wolven Blood stacks, then spikes her Physical and Heat damage again at 16 stacks. So instead of buffing only part of her kit, it amplifies her whole game plan. Pretty much a made-for-her sig.

Rapid Ascent

Rarity: 6✦

Type: Sword

Base ATK: 495

Battle Skills and Ultimates gain Physical DMG dealt +24%. Against staggered enemies, Battle Skills and Ultimates also gain DMG dealt +56%.

Among the currently documented 6-star swords, this is the cleanest premium fallback. It gives Crit Rate and directly boosts battle skills, which already makes sense for Rossi’s revealed damage profile. It doesn’t line up perfectly with every part of her hybrid kit, but it is still the most natural high-rarity substitute until live testing confirms something better.

 Glorious Memory

Glorious Memory

Rarity: 6

Type: Sword

Base ATK: 490

ATK: +11.2%

When the wielder's skill applies Vulnerability, during the next ultimate cast within 30s, the wielder gains DMG Dealt +19.2%.

Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect is only triggered once every 0.5s.

Glorious Memory is also Rossi’s best substitute because it lines up with her real damage cycle instead of just giving filler stats. GameKee already lists it as a lower-tier option for Rossi, and its effect rewards applying Vulnerability with skills, then cashing out through the next Ultimate. Since Rossi already plays around Vulnerability windows and single-target burst, this weapon fits her flow naturally and keeps her burst turns efficient.

This setup works as Rossi’s best endgame gear because it stacks the things her kit actually wants most: reliable crits, smoother burst access, and stronger finisher turns. Three MI Security pieces give her extra Crit Rate, then snowball into ATK and even more Crit Rate after crits, which is perfect for Rossi since Bloodboil only pays off when she crits marked targets. MI Security Armor T1 also helps her reach Ultimate windows faster, while Redeemer Gloves and the double MI Security Scope T1 push her burst and crit consistency even harder.

This is the same kind of practical physical starter shell you see recommended for existing Physical damage dealers: it boosts Agility and gives extra Physical damage while your account is still too young to force fancy optimized mixes. Rossi may be more technical than those characters, but she still wants a stable physical floor early on.

Potential Recommendation

Potential 1 is the best early breakpoint. It boosts both Crimson Shadow and Moment of Blazing Shadow to 1.15x damage, and makes Wolven Ambrage refund 10 SP on hit. Since Rossi’s kit already leans heavily on Battle Skill into Combo Skill pressure, P1 gives her the most noticeable day-one value by improving both rotation feel and core damage at once.

Potential 2 is the most efficient mid-stop. The +20 Agility and +7% Crit Rate look simple, but they fit Rossi extremely well: her Combo Skill buffs her crit stats, and Seething Blood triggers when her skills land crits on Razor Clawmarked enemies. So P2 is not just filler stats, it makes her burst windows feel more stable and more reliable in real fights.

Potential 5 is the premium breakpoint if you want to push her hard. It upgrades “Razorclaw” Ambuscade to 1.1x damage and adds +30% Critical DMG. That is a big deal because Rossi’s Ultimate is already one of her strongest cash-out tools, and her Razor Clawmark increases the target’s Physical and Heat damage taken, which lines up perfectly with that finisher burst.

Endministrator

Gilberta

Gilberta

This is the cleaner all-around setup if you want Rossi’s hybrid kit to feel properly enabled. Rossi’s public kit revolves around converting Arts Infliction into Vulnerability, while Wulfgard already plays well around Arts Infliction and Combustion states, so the two naturally point in the same direction. Gilberta rounds the team out with strong Arts Susceptibility and crowd-control utility, which helps create cleaner burst windows instead of forcing messy rotations. Once the setup is in place, Endministrator gives the comp a real payoff button by consuming Vulnerability stacks for heavy burst damage.

Akekuri

Da Pan

Pogranichnik

Pogranichnik

This comp still works without Gilberta because it keeps Rossi’s core loop online. Rossi mainly wants Vulnerability + Arts Infliction to unlock her Combo Skill, and Akekuri covers the Arts side by applying Heat Infliction, which counts as Arts Infliction. Meanwhile, Da Pan is great at stacking and cashing out Vulnerability, and Pogranichnik adds Breach, SP flow, and more payoff for a Physical-heavy shell. So even without Gilberta’s utility, the team still gives Rossi the setup, debuffs, and rotation support she actually needs.

Akekuri

This version leans more into rotation support and smoother skill flow. Wulfgard still helps cover the hybrid side of Rossi’s setup, while Akekuri brings SP recovery utility and can contribute Heat Infliction, giving the team a more comfortable rhythm when you’re trying to cycle key skills on time. Endministrator still acts as the main finisher here, cashing out the Vulnerability stacks that Rossi helps create. Compared to the Gilberta team, this one gives up some debuff and control value, but it can feel more stable if you prefer a lineup with better resource flow.

Conclusion

Rossi has the kind of kit that can leave a strong impression once the right team pieces are in place. Her playstyle offers clear payoff, stronger pressure in focused fights, and plenty of room for players who enjoy more deliberate setups instead of pure autopilot damage. That gives her a solid identity going into Version 1.1 Phase 2, and she already looks like a banner that can win over players who enjoy sharper, more specialized carries.
